Valley Torah is notorious for offering students multiple ways to further bond with their fellow peers and Rebbiem. This past Thursday the Rebbeim planned an optional night seder in which students would find their way to the Bet Midrash right after school and meet up with their Gemera Rebbiem. As students arrived, Rebbiem started giving the paper the shiur would focus on. What is unique about this type of activity is that each shiur had a different topic they would discuss ranging from Ayin Hara to just learning some Makkot! The learning lasted for a span of 50 minutes with students asking striking questions and gaining a better insight on the specific topic that was learned. After the Rebbeim shiurim finished, students rushed to the lunch room to enjoy a plentiful dinner from the restaurant, Tel Aviv. Students received boatloads of juicy Shawarma along with a fresh pita and an abundance of salads and sauces for their enjoyment. Students sat with their Rebbiem and friends and enjoyed a beautiful Thursday night leaving happier than ever.
Personally, one thing I adore at Valley Torah is the opportunities that they set for students. Whether it be something as small as walking students to the mini-mart or planning a major chagigah, Valley Torah is known for fostering a sense of unity and family between students, staff, and Rebbeim, something which makes Valley Torah unique from other schools.
