The L.A. fire has been a real concern to the residents of LA. The fire first started in the Palisades on January 7, 2025. The fire was so strong that it burned down the whole school building in that district. From that point on, we’ve seen the fire spreading, not being contained by the fire department. The reason for the spread of the fire and the high alert is that the weather is dry in LA, and there is no rain. Another main contributor to the spread of the fires is the high winds that have been occurring. The fire has been destroying lots of houses; there have been 6,000 homes destroyed only in the Palisades and more outside as well. Not only does this fire burn homes it also causes many people to leave their homes. There have already been 130,000 people evacuated from their homes. Luckily, there haven’t been too many casualties; there have been only two that have been reported. Even if a resident in L.A. arent near the fire, the winds are so strong that the ashes get swept all over. Furthermore, the smoke is everywhere, the air is very polluted, and in some areas it is really hard to breathe. This situation has gotten so serious that all the schools in L.A. were shut down due to safety concerns for the students. All we know is that the firefighters worked their hardest to contain and then put out the fire.
