As the world falls into chaos because of the Iran and Israel war, countries are in place to decide which country to align with. The war started with Israel’s bombing of Iranian nuclear plants, nuclear scientists, and, recently, their oil plants. Iran retaliated with massive barrages of missiles towards Israel, but almost all of them were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Recently, Iran started using ballistic missiles against Israe,l which is much harder to intercept. Countries like China were indirectly affected by Israel’s attacks because they import most of their oil from Iran. Although Russia keeps tight diplomatic and economic relations with Iran, President Putin explained how he will not involve Russia in the war. Iran uses a proxy network as a way to have more allies. The Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, militias in Iraq, Hamas in Gaza, and the Assad regime in Syria are all a part of the proxy network where Iran supplies weapons to attack Israel. On the other hand, America has already shown its support towards Israel, as President Trump explained how Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. As Trump explained, within the next two weeks, America will either strike a deal with Iran or enter into a war. However, America is still sending many cargo planes to Israel to support their operations and defense systems. America’s B-2 bombers are needed by Israel to break into the top nuclear facilities, which are bunkered in mountains. Europe is trying to de-escalate the situation from becoming a full-out wa,r while Turkey is preparing for war by raising their medium and long-range missile production so that no one would dare to attack them. Israel also has all the members of the Abraham Accords and humanitarian partners like Germany and the UK on their side. Iran might just make a deal and abort their nuclear plans, which would make things for the world much better.
