This year, Valley Torah High School launched a brand new program for learning and davening during the summer, where students can track their progress for perks and rewards. This, intending to carry on the Torah spirit, Valley Torah started during the school year, is an amazing opportunity for students to become inspired in their learning and commitment to Judaism while also enjoying incentives.
Along with this, the gracious Rabbi Majeski has opened up his shul/ kollel to students who wish to take the extra step to make minyan and learn every day. This also, coming with incentives such as money and gifts, serves the same purpose. Furthermore, Rabbi Koshki has offered the same type of program, and hopefully, this combination of amazing and selfless programs will help students stay in that sort of mood and not leave kids in the ruckus that summer usually brings for young teenage boys.
Unlike other years, Valley Torah is also taking an extra step to ensure that their students are ready spiritually and mentally for the school year, and that they are able to have a convenient way to do the mitzvot of Hashem in a difficult time to do them, with vacation and other factors often making it hard for students to fully commit to davening and learning. While this will not be easy for students, with Hashem’s will, this program will be a great success and be another way that Valley Torah helps students in any way, shape, or form possible.
