The day began normally, with the same morning routine. We began with morning prayers, followed by breakfast. Then came Gemara shiur, where we were unable to hold in our excitement for the upcoming activities ahead. After the shiur finished, Rabbi Semmel’s 10th grade Honors shiur got into their cars. Some students took ubers, while others joined Rabbi Semmel in his car. Some even drove by themselves! After the drive, we all met up at our destination, Top Golf. It didn’t matter if you were a seasoned veteran or a fresh newbie, everyone can have fun whacking away at the open area. The air was static with competition and excitement as friends attempted to see who can drive their ball the farthest. After a couple of hours, we made our way to the beach for the second part. The cold weather may have stopped us from jumping into the open ocean but that didn’t stop us from having fun! We soon fired up the barbecue and layered on some juicy steak skewers and seasoned chicken skewers. While the food was cooking, the beach became our playground. With games like spikeball and soccer, dust was flying everywhere. Laughter echoed through the air as the ocean crashed on the shore, the two sounds colliding with each other. As the wind grew cold at 6:00pm, we packed up and headed home. Tired but content, we returned home with humongous smiles on our faces, telling a story of a day well spent.

Thank you to all the staff and students who made it such a meaningful and memorable day!
