As we know school is a very challenging thing to accomplish. At school, you are faced with many challenges like tests and quizzes. High school is one of the harder challenges because it is the last 4 years before we embark on our college journey. During High School, one has to start working harder in order to prepare for the challenges college brings.
This year’s Valley Torah graduation was very special. The graduation was located at the Hilton Universal, an amazing spot known to all. As you walk in, you can tell the place is no ordinary place. There were many people smiling in joy as they saw their nephew, son, or grandson, graduate. Then Rabbi Stulburger was outside with joy and content to see all the families of the graduates and the graduates themselves. First, people took their seats on their designated sides, women and men sat in two different rows. Then they watched the graduates walk toward their chairs as everyone in the crowd clapped and cheered for each one of them. Then the principals and Rabbis started to give out awards. First Rabbi Semmel gave a very nice speech talking about the tragedy of October 7th and right after proceeded to give out the Salutatorian award. Then Mr. Kleinman shared a nice speech and gave the Valedictorian award to which the Valedictorian gave an inspiring speech of the perseverance needed to achieve this goal. The boys then all got their well-deserved diplomas from Rabbi Stulbuger. The graduation then ended with a nice lunch with sushi, cake, and fruit. They also said mincha to conclude the nice evening and the former Seniors took their next major step in life, college.
