Valley Torah has many trips throughout the year that are unforgettable. These trips have fantastic food, great transport vehicles, and numerous fun activities. The most recent Valley Torah trip was amazing. We first embarked on a water hike which took about 30 minutes to reach the destination of a beautiful waterfall. The trail was between two mountains and many many rivers. In order to cross the valley we had to jump on rocks and pass through streams of water. The rocks that day were pretty wet so it was hard to land on them without falling. The hike itself took about 20-45 min depending on how fast people were going. At the end of the trail, there was a beautiful waterfall but the water was freezing cold. Many students decided to jump into the water and enjoy the waterfall. There were also some firefighters there in case anything happened. That day the air felt extra fresh and the air a bit cooler. On the way back it was very easy because we were going downhill. When we got back to the bus there were snacks and then we left for the basketball courts. There was a tournament with eight teams. The games were very intense and many games came down to the wire. After that, everyone was exhausted but was still excited to go to a man-made lake with floating slides and many water obstacles. The water was a bit cold but you got used to it after a while. There were slides, swings, and monkey bars. After the water park, we had a delicious dinner featuring a schnitzel sandwich, a burger, or a grilled chicken sandwich. In addition, Mr. Kleinman’s children made delicious brownies for dessert. The day ended with a smooth ride home with our phones. Overall this was a great trip with many fun memories.
