On Thursday, May 16, 2024, multiple classes in Valley Torah went on a class trip from around 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The 9th-grade honors Gemara Shiur went on a trip to a rented-out private soccer field and had lunch at Valley Burger Bar. The 10th-grade Shiur went on a trip to Bell-Jeff to play basketball and devoured a Tel Aviv lunch. The 11th-grade Shiur, on the other hand, went on a full-day trip to the beach and ended their trip in the city eating at Lenny’s Casita. The 9th graders played an exhilarating game of soccer on a large soccer field and experienced great food at Burger Bar. This was a great opportunity for students to further their relationship with their 9th-grade peers as their freshman year was coming to an end. The 10th graders played basketball and enjoyed a big Tel Aviv lunch and the students look forward to another rematch. This was an intense game as many students jumped on the floor for the ball and a few minor injuries occurred. The 11th graders went to Venice Beach and played a full-court basketball game leaving no student out and enjoying the view of the beach. They also ate authentic Mexican cuisine at Lenny’s Casita in which they all went home with a full stomach. These trips across all grades provided an unforgettable bonding experience for the students and Rebbeim, something unique at Valley Torah.
